"How can you say you're environmentalists?" asked a local skeptic in United Stats. "Your cars aren't green at all -- one runs on leaded petrol and the other on a dirty diesel."

But our critic had a point: the vehicles were adequately green, but their fuel definitely wasn't. But we did not plan to contaminate the environment with filthy fossil fuel exhaust fumes all the way. There are better, cleaner, fuels -- and you can make them yourself!

Why make biofuel?

More often than not the “Answer” is in a mixture of technologies. Biofuel can be employed to power up small scale farms and local workshop machinery and electricity generators as well as vehicles. Knowing how to make biofuel provides a constructive set of environmental questions in investigating local energy options which are worth asking even if the final answer is “No”.

We had three main aims to make biofuel:

Using the renewable fuels for our voyage and to make them public
In order to improve independence of energy at the local communities
As an environmental project for schools participating in Journey to Forever.

Biofuel Benefits

The Biofuel are formed from biological and non fossil sources. By using biofuel we are plummeting dependence on imported crude oil, increasing the use of renewable energy and reducing our overall emission of carbon dioxide, which contribute to global climate change. As biofuel are produced from biological material they do not put additional carbon dioxide into the environment – unlike fossil fuel.
